“I often experiment with the idea of something that resembles reality but feels like a dream. In this series, flowers are used as a familiar subject, but their certainty is removed, allowing them to exist as a memory or an abstract form.”

Her algorithm is intimately connected with her tastes and aesthetics. She says, “I have an archive of art that I’ve created over the years, which has become a part of how I approach new ideas. Recently, I’ve been experimenting with AI models trained on my visuals, using them to revisit elements of my existing aesthetic. When I get an idea, I begin by working with these models to explore different directions”

“Something I’ve been interested in with this series is that by pushing the flower away from its literal form, it can start to feel more like an impression than a representation. That became an important part of the art, using motion, blur, and a tearing away effect, not to ruin the subject, but to explore how we perceive it.”
